Welcome to American Business Opportunities.  This blog is dedicated to exploring all kinds of business opportunities and seeing which ones are standing the test of time and are actually worth your time to consider.  We recommend that you take numerous issues into consideration before ever jumping at any business opportunity.

  Are you suited to running your own business?  Can you handle being on call to your business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?  Are you suited to handling all the paper work and bookkeeping required to run your own business?  You need to look at every angle.  Even though a business may sound good, look at the aspect, you may just be doing this for the next 20 or so years.  Are you ready to dedicate that much of your life to it?  Do you have enough capital put aside to carry you through the first year?  Do you need a year's worth a capital saved to even begin?

  Not every business is going to take off and make you money right away.  Some will, most will not.  It's hard work.  Can you sell?  do you like to sell?  If you do not like to sell, owning your own business may not work out for you.  Most businesses require a certain amount of selling.  Do you want to work from home or do you want to open up a shop?  What are the requirements for doing either in your home town?
